Every Child Ready to Read 2022 Early Literacy Workshops
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Your little one begins to learn at birth, and you are already doing a great job! The Shaler North Hills Library is committed to providing you with the tools you need to raise a reader! There are five early literacy practices that will help a child develop a foundation for reading.
We are so grateful to walk alongside you as you nurture your little one on the road to reading. It is a privilege to serve in your library and we want to enhance your journey as your child develops from a uniquely precious little one into a uniquely precious adult.Parenting might be the hardest job out there, yet its rewards are immeasurable! We delight in seeing you take pride in the ways your little one is growing and learning each day.
As librarians, we don't have the answers, but we know how to get them! We continue to expand our knowledge around childhood development and we want to be a resource of resources for you.
